Apply
- Visit the admission department website for the college/university of your choice and complete the online application for undergraduate admission. Make sure you pay the application fee online with a credit card or mail a check if permissible.
- Request your transcript through Parchment’s secure transcript service at parchment.com. This site will also generate an ESSR (counselor form, school signature page, etc.) for selected schools.
- If you need teacher/community member letters of recommendation don’t forget to give them a senior brag sheet and allow two weeks to complete the letter.

Scholarships
Pay attention to new and current scholarship applications in Naviance, check this site often!
- The Morgan County Community Foundation will release their scholarship applications in the fall of your senior year. Check out their Scholarship Central website!
- Visit the financial aid/scholarship website for the college of your choice to find out your eligibility for scholarships and financial aid offered only through the school.

Financial Aid

- Make a copy of the FAFSA for your personal records. Review for errors and submit corrections by the posted corrections deadline in order to maintain your financial aid eligibility.
- Print the submission confirmation page for your records.
- Once processed, you will have access to your Student Aid Report (SAR). If you do not receive your SAR log in to your account to check your application status and make contact for any assistance needed.
- If needed, attend College Goal Sunday in November and/or February for additional help in completing the FAFSA. To find this year’s date and a location nearest you visit http://www.collegegoalsunday.org/
