SLIGHT TIME CHANGE: To accommodate lunch changes at MHS/PHMS, all school dismissal times will change slightly for the 2016-17 school year. MHS and PHMS will dismiss at 2:40p.m. So buses have enough time to complete middle and high school routes, elementary schools will each dismiss 5 minutes later this fall. Arrival times will remain the same. 


Kindergarten Orientation: July 27th,   kindergarten bus orientation and then K-Camp.   9:00 bus orientation for parent and students.

NEW ENROLLMENTS: PLEASE complete the correct online application below for your situation and then contact your child's school to make an appointment to bring required paperwork and/or set up a student schedule. 

  • If you have moved into our district, please complete this inner-district new enrollment application
  • If you already have students at Mooresville Schools and need to add a new student to your household, please log into Skyward and complete the "new enrollment" tab. 
  • If you are considering an out-of-district enrollment, click here for information and an application. 

Completing an online application is not a guarantee of enrollment. Please be sure to follow up with your school to complete an accepted enrollment. 


VACCINATIONS: All students entering kindergarten, 6th, and 12th grade are reminded that vaccination boosters are needed (See Vaccination Requirements ). Our vaccination deadline is September 1. Students may be excluded from school after that if they don't have proper documentation. The Franciscan St. Francis Vaccination Clinic will be at Neil Armstrong Elementary on Sat., July 30, 9am to noon to assist with vaccinations – register at 317-528-6374 to ensure we have enough vaccine.  


UPDATING STUDENT INFORMATION: Be sure your family contact information is up-to-date in our student system. Learn more about how parents can use Skyward with the Skyward Family Access Toolkit. Skyward family access includes communication tools, student grade information, lunch account information, and much more. 


TRANSPORTATION QUESTIONS: If you have questions regarding a bus route or bus arrival times, please contact our Transportation Department at 317-831-9220. 


SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR FAMILIES IN NEED: Families in need of assistance should plan to attend our School Supply Distribution on Saturday, July 30, 9am – noon at Neil Armstrong Elementary School. Please bring proof of current residence (utility bill, lease, etc.). Students are encouraged to attend so they can pick out their backpack – if your student cannot attend, please bring proof of enrollment such as a report card or letter from school.
