Prospective Students

Thank you for your interest in Mooresville Schools. Whether you are relocating here or already live in the area, we understand that the quality of education in our community is important to you. Mooresville has been rated by the Indiana Department of Education as an A-rated, Exemplary school district. Our district includes four-star schools, one-to-one technology programs, several state and national champion groups, and much more. We're also excited to enhance learning through the award-winning Project Lead the Way STEM education program and our high school career programs. Learn more about Project Lead the Way

Check out our district video or read our Mooresville Schools brochure to learn about our district's rich history and our current innovative programs. You may also wish to Follow us on Twitter or Find us on Facebook to see more of the day-to-day activities at our schools. You can learn more about the Mooresville community through these feature videos Mooresville - Your Town Friday part 1  and Mooresville - Your Town Friday part 2 from our local Fox news station.

Programs are available from developmental preschool through advanced placement and college dual-credit coursework for high school students. At the middle and high school level, Mooresville also offers access to online coursework options for those who wish to participate in a non-traditional school day but still benefit from some programming with their peers. Parents of incoming kindergarten students should visit our Preparing for Kindergarten page, which includes information about taking that big step into school.

The Mooresville school district area includes Brown, Madison, and Harrison Townships as well as the Town of Mooresville in northern Morgan County, Indiana. Students residing in our district in our area may have 46158 (Mooresville), 46113 (Camby), or 46151 (Martinsville) addresses. Please check your actual township of residence as the zip code areas do not line up with school district boundaries.

If you have moved into our district area, please complete the inner-district new enrollment application and then contact your child's school to make an appointment to bring required enrollment paperwork (listed below) and visit the school.

More than 12% of Mooresville students choose to attend our schools even though they live outside the Mooresville area. Students who wish to transfer to Mooresville Schools for 2019-2020 should call the Superintendent's Office at 317-831-0950 for guidance.  Any students living outside the district who would like to attend Mooresville Schools in 2020-2021 will need to complete an Out of District Enrollment Application

Out-of-district students must provide their own transportation. Please read additional information on the application form.  We reserve the right to close any schools, grade levels or programs which have reached capacity. The following are closed to out-of-district applicants for 2019-2020 due to capacity issues:
