Thank you for your interest in Mooresville Schools. Whether you are relocating here or already live in the area, we understand that the quality of education in our community is important to you. Mooresville has been rated by the Indiana Department of Education as an A-rated, Exemplary school district. Our district includes four-star schools, one-to-one technology programs, several state and national champion groups, and much more. Check out our video or read our Mooresville Schools brochure to learn about our district's rich history and our current innovative programs. You may also wish to Follow us on Twitter or Find us on Facebook to see more of the day-to-day activities at our schools. You can learn more about the Mooresville community through these feature videos Mooresville - 2015 Your Town Friday and Mooresville - 2016 Your Town Friday from our local Fox news station.
Programs are available from developmental preschool through advanced placement and college dual-credit coursework for high school students. At the middle and high school level, Mooresville also offers access to online coursework options for those who wish to participate in a non-traditional school day but still benefit from some programming with their peers. Parents of incoming kindergarten students should visit our Preparing for Kindergarten page, which includes information about taking that big step into school.
The Mooresville school district area includes Brown, Madison, and Harrison Townships as well as the Town of Mooresville in northern Morgan County, Indiana. Students residing in our district in our area may have 46158 (Mooresville), 46113 (Camby), or 46151 (Martinsville) addresses. Please check your actual township of residence as the zip code areas do not line up with school district boundaries.
OUT OF DISTRICT APPLICATION PROCESS
More than 10% of Mooresville students choose to attend our schools even though they live outside the Mooresville area. Any students living outside the district who would like to attend Mooresville Schools in 2017-18 will need to complete our online Out of District Enrollment Application.
Out-of-district students must provide their own transportation. Out of district enrollment applications are due by Friday, May 26, 2017. After that time, some grade levels at certain school buildings may close due to space considerations.
Completing an online application is not a guarantee of enrollment. Please be sure to follow up with your school to complete an accepted enrollment. We ask that you bring the following documents to the school office with you for enrollment:
Student's Birth Certificate
Student's Shot Records
Two Proofs of Residency (mortgage, rent agreement, utility bill, etc.)
Parent/Guardian Driver's License
Custody Paperwork or Court Documentation (if applicable)
