Our parents and families are our school's best resources. We appreciate all of those who prepare their children to learn each day and who participate in their child's education.  If you have not had the chance to do so, please get to know your child's Parent-Teacher Organization (elementary and middle schools) or various parent groups at the middle and high schools (athletics, fine arts, post prom, and more). Contact the school for information about specific parent groups.

Assisting Students in Need

Through our Counselors and Family Service Coordinators, we assist families in need to help keep their students on a "level playing field" with their peers. Our district also partners locally with Churches in Mission to help provide school supplies to all students in need prior to the start of school. Donations of new school supplies are welcomed and appreciated. Contact our Family Service Coordinators if you have clothing items you would like to donate.

Donations of Box Tops for Education, Campbells Soup Labels, and other such program items are welcome, as our donations to the paper recycling containers on each campus. Donations of other items, such as books for a school or classroom library, are welcome as well. Please contact the school you wish to assist for specific donation information.

Volunteering at Our Schools

All schools have opportunities for parent, grandparent, and community volunteers. If you have time available to help with class events and activities, library services, or other projects, please contact the school you are interested in helping. Volunteers who spend one-on-one time with children or who will be traveling with children are subject to criminal background checks. Please fill out the form and return it to your child's school if you are interested in serving as a volunteer or chaperone.
