The Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) has asked for input from parents and community members as well as educators on the state’s Student-Centered Accountability Systems’ Growth Values Table. This system assesses student growth in school performance calculations. The Values Table uses each student’s prior year assessment and current year observed growth to demonstrate a student’s growth toward proficiency.  Student growth towards proficiency is utilized in the A-F Accountability system for Indiana schools.

Four sample Observed Growth Values Tables have been created for consideration and feedback. Please visit the IDOE website link below to provide your input. Specific ideas as well as comments are welcomed. The survey will be open March 25 – April 3.

We appreciate our parents and community members providing feedback in this important process.
