Book Rental Information


It is important to our schools to receive textbook and fee payments at the beginning of the school year. Please see below for the textbook rental amounts to be paid.

 

Payments are due October 31, 2018 for all Mooresville Schools families. Elementary fees are set prior to the start of school  Middle and high school fees will be figured after the class drop/add period and parents will have final numbers by early September. For exact fees, please log into your child's Skyward Account. Parents may make payments at any time but should remember if their middle or high school student changes classes, fees may be affected. 

 

Parents have three payment options:


1. Full payment to the school office. Checks can be made out to their school.

     $110 Kindergarten-6th Grade (additional fees apply for gifted/talented programs) 

     $50 Explorers or Lifeskills Class (special education)

     7th-12 grade - amount depends upon the classes taken. For exact fees, please log into your child's Skyward Account.


2. Complete and confirm a free/reduced lunch and textbook application (through your child's Skyward account) and pay the reduced amount either in full or with a payment plan. If you qualify for free or reduced lunches, please pay the following amounts for the material fee:

     $30 Kindergarten-6th Grade

     $50 Explorers or Lifeskills Class (special education)

     7th-12 grade - amount depends upon the classes taken. For exact fees, please log into your child's Skyward Account.


3. Make a partial initial payment and set up a payment plan with the school. The plan must include a final payment by May 1, 2019.

 

Families not qualified for free textbooks who do not make payment or set up a payment plan may be subject to a referral to collections.
