About Food Services
The Food Services Department is proud to provide nutritious breakfast and lunch meals for thousands of students at the seven schools each day. Our caring and dedicated staff of school nutrition employees serve meals which meet USDA guidelines and school meal regulations.
Breakfast is served daily at all schools just before the school day begins. All students including bus riders have access to breakfast meals, and students who are eligible for free or reduced lunch are automatically eligble for free or reduced $0.30 breakfast meals. More information about breakfast is available on the menus for your student's school which can be found on the left side of this page. All menus include a main entree choice as well as vegetarian entree choices of yogurt, salad, or peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Extra ala carte items such as milk, juice, and snacks may also be purchased. In addition, middle and high school students may choose from several serving lines and have several additional entree and side item selections. Parents who do not want their children to purchase extra items can contact their school's cafeteria manager about blocking this option on their child's school meal account.
School meal prices are $1.70 for breakfast (all schools), $2.60 for elementary school lunch and $2.75 for middle and high school lunch. Free and Reduced-price meal benefits are available to all students in households which qualify. Free and Reduced-price Meal Applications for meal benefits as well as textbook assistance are available in each school building and on this website. Only one application per household is needed. A new application must be filled out each year for meal benefits to continue. Parents may pay for meals with cash or check sent directly to the school or make credit card payments and view their child's account statements via the food service tab on Skyward Family Access.
Information About Sharing Free or Reduced
Meal Information with Other School Programs
If you have been approved to receive free or reduced meals, you may also be eligible for other types of assistance through various school programs. For example, you may be eligible to recieve test fee waivers, backpack programs, or family assistance programs. In order to protect our students' privacy, we will only share free or reduced meal program eligibility information with programs outside of food service if we have received permission from their parent or gaurdian to do so. If you would like for your student to be eligible to receive these benefits, you will need to complete this form each year you wish to be eligible: Sharing Information with Other Programs. Once you complete the form, you can return it to your student's school office. We only need one form completed for all students within a household.
