Grade Level Programs

High Ability Programs are refined and implemented in various ways at different grade levels to meet the needs of the students.

Elementary Schools

Last year, there were more than 130 students enrolled in the PEAK program (Grades 3-6) in the five Mooresville Schools elementaries.

Middle School

Educational opportunities for high ability students have  greatly expanded over the past three years  at Paul Hadley Middle School.

During this time, the middle school curriculum has  expanded to include the courses of Algebra I and  Biology for high school credit to Eighth grade students  as well as offering the Advanced level courses in  Math and Language Arts.

High School

Mooresville High School has now increased the high ability class offerings to 20 for the 2010-2011 school year.  These high ability classes included the honors offered to Grade 9 and 10 students as well as the Advanced Placement (AP) and Advanced College Placement (ACP) courses offered to Grade 11 and 12 students.
