JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • ASSIST TEACHERS AND STUDENTS IN USE OF COMPUTERS,PRINTERS, AND SOFTWARE,
  • INPUT DATA/MANAGE TESTING PROGRAMS/HELP ORGANIZE COMPUTERIZED TESTING,
  • MAINTAIN COMPUTER LABS IN A NEAT AND ORDERLY MANNER,
  • DETECT AND REPAIR COMPUTER EQUIPMENT,
  • ASSIST WITH OFFICE AND CLERICAL DUTIES AS NEEDED,
  • SUPERVISE BOTH GRADE LEVEL LUNCHES AND MORNING DUTY,
  • OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES AS DIRECTED BY SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION, DIRECTOR OF TECHNOLOGY, AND OFFICE CLERICAL STAFF.

    • CREATE RTI CALENCAR,
    • ADMINISTER WEEKLY PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENTS,
    • DOCUMENT STUDENT PERFORMANCE,
    • REPORT TO RTI TEAM.
    • WILLINGNESS TO WORK WITH GRADE-LEVEL TEAM AND ADMINISTRATOR TO DETERMINE WHAT IS BEST FOR THE STUDENTS IN OUR SCHOOL AND ESTABLISH INDIVIDUAL LEARNING PLANS,
  • STRONG BACKGROUND KNOWLEDGE OF THE INDIANA READING/MATH FRAMEWORKS AND HOW IT SHOULD BE IMPLEMENTED IN A ONE-ON-ONE OR SMALL GROUP SETTING,
  • CURRENT READING/MATH STRATEGIES FOR IMPLEMENTATION,
  • EDUCATION LICENSE IS PREFERRED BUT NOT MANDATORY,
  • CANDIDATE MUST BE QUALIFIED AND MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH STUDENTS IN GRADES K-6.
  • READING/MATH MUST BE A STRENGTH.

Additional Employment Information

  • Access to Mooresville Schools Working Well Clinic for all employees (certified and non-certified, regardless of insurance status).
  • Before and after school care is provided free of charge for full-time employees as well as part-time employees who are working during before and after school care hours through the Mooresville Parks Rec&U program. Before school care hours are from 6:30a.m. to the start of elementary school while after school hours are from the end of elementary school to 6:00p.m. This care is for the employees’ dependents who are enrolled in an elementary school of Mooresville Schools. 
  • Free admission for the employee and a guest to Mooresville Schools regular-season, home athletic competitions.
